Transformation-অর্থ রূপান্তর। তাহলে Sentence বা বাক্যের রূপের পরিবর্তনই হচ্ছে Transformation of Sentence। এক্ষেত্রে বাক্যের অর্থের ভাব অপরিবর্তিত থাকবে কিন্তু রূপের পরিবর্তন ঘটবে। বিভিন্ন প্রকার বাক্যের Transformation হয়ে থাকে। যেমন- Affirmative, Assertive, Interrogative, Exclamatory, Simple, Complex, Compound, Positive, Comparative এবং Superlative ইত্যাদি। Transformation of Sentence সর্বদা কিছু সুনির্দিষ্ট নিয়ম মেনে চলে। নিচে তা বিস্তারিতভাবে আলোচনা করা হলো।
